Honne Wood
Honne, originating from Suth East Asia is another popular variety of wood. It is comparatively heavier than teak. Due to its inherent strength and strong mechanical properties. This is can also be used for furniture making purposes.
Honne is preferred after teak for applications like doors, windows etc. However, Honne, when exposed to water releases its inherent natural colour for some duration.
